Short Link Terms
By creating or using a HeyRocky short link, you agree that the service is provided as-is for lawful, ordinary link sharing. We may refuse, disable, edit, rate-limit, redirect, or remove any short link at any time for abuse, security, legal, operational, spam, phishing, malware, brand, or business reasons.
Email and account-less access
To create a short link, you must provide an email address and agree to these terms. We store the email address with the created link for internal operational use only, including operating the service, preventing abuse, troubleshooting, and contacting users about the service. Public Stats pages do not show creator email addresses.
Acceptable use
Do not create links to phishing pages, malware, scams, illegal content, deceptive offers, harassment, spam, credential collection, payment fraud, adult exploitation, hateful content, infringing material, privacy violations, or anything intended to bypass security controls or mislead people. Automated or excessive use may be blocked.
Tracking and public stats
HeyRocky tracks short-link creation time, destination URL, destination domain, click count, last-click time, and basic technical request information such as IP address and user agent for security and analytics. The public stats page may list short links, destination domains, creation dates, and total click counts, but not creator email addresses or full destination URLs.
Destination risk
A short link can point to a third-party website we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party content, prices, claims, downloads, security, privacy practices, uptime, transactions, or policies. Users should inspect destinations and use their own judgment.
No guarantee
We do not promise that links will remain available, unique, permanent, indexed, private, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. We may change URL formats, limits, features, or retention practices as the service evolves.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, HeyRocky and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, lost-business, reputational, security, or third-party damages arising from short links or linked destinations.
English controls / Texas dispute process
The English-language version of these terms is the official, controlling version. Any translations are provided for convenience only; if a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls and governs any dispute. These terms and any dispute relating to HeyRocky, Rocky, Try Rocky, short links, demo output, submitted information, or related services are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any formal claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through informal written notice and mediation in Texas. To the maximum extent permitted by law, any unresolved dispute must be resolved only by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and the parties waive jury trials and class, collective, consolidated, or representative actions. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary or injunctive relief for misuse of systems, intellectual property, security, confidentiality, or unauthorized access, or from using small-claims court where applicable law requires that option remain available.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, do not create or use HeyRocky short links.
